2 Policemen Arrested Over Death Of Undergraduate In Osun

Two policemen have been arrested over the killing of an undergraduate in Osun

* The killing of the undergraduate identified as Tunde Nofiu had caused a temporary breakdown of law and order.

* Consequently, the police assured Nigerians that the police force would ensure justice.

Two police officers are currently in custody over the killing of an undergraduate in Osun state. According to ACP Yomi Shogunle, head of public complaints rapid response unit, the two men have been arrested.

Tracking No. #PCRRU202284." had reported that some irate youths on Friday, August 24, set a police station ablaze in Iwo, Osun state, for the alleged killing of an undergraduate, Tunde Nofiu, by an officer attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in the state. regional reporter in Osun state, Sola Adetona, reported that Nofiu was said to be spending holidays in the town when the ugly incident happened.

It was gathered that the student who was going to Iwo from Olupona was shot dead on Thursday night, August 23, and the incident led to a protest by the angry youths.
