From Changhai with goals' Odion: Striker Odion Ighalo score hat trick as Nigeria see off Libya 4-0 in an African nations' cup qualifier.


Nigeria this afternoon at the nest of champions' stadium, Uyo Akwa Ibom state. defeated the Libya national team in an African cup of nations qualifier.

Odion Ighalo opened scoring for Nigeria in the third minute of the game vie a penalty.

Injured defender Abdulahi Shehu on the nineteen minute make way for Ola Aina for the first substitution of the game.

Nigeria's second brightest chances of the game came late in the first half through Jamilu Collins who went solo taken on the Libyan defenders but in the end his effort hits the cross bar.

The second goal for Nigeria came against the run of play early in the second half of the game through striker Odion Ighalo from a brilliant interplay with captain Ahmed Musa and a final through ball from Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi.

Odion Ighalo scored the third and his hat trick of the game after receiving a through ball from Ahmed Musa.

He would later be substituted for Watford's player Isaac Success. Nigeria third and final substitution of the game came as captain Ahmed Musa make way for striker Henry Onyekuru who is being invited to the super eagles the second time.

He was in the friendly game against Leone stars of Liberia. Nigeria scored the fourth of the game when Samuel Kalu after he received a through pass from substitute Henry Onyekuru.
